Using Adobe After Effects, Element 3D (Video Copilot plug-in), and a stabilization rig, I go over how to create a frozen action sequence.

Element 3D and a stabilization rig are both not entirely necessary. You can achieve the look in other creative ways using only 2D elements, or other 3D programs.
